Right-Wing Neocons Rooting For Ahmadinejad Win

So, it is now proven. The right-wing republicans WOULD
rather America fail than have President Obama succeed.
We knew it, but now it's proven. Neo-cons are anti-America...

Mousavi has "claimed" victory. We'll see what the Ayatollah has to say about that.

How convenient for you to talk about how little power the president of Iran is when the people are looking for a new direction. At the same time you will say the opposite if there is no change in power. Stop with the semantics...

You are wrong again. We do not have to wait and see if the Iranian elections will make any difference. We have known since November 1979 that elections in Iran are a joke at best. Iran will continue to be the largest state sponsor of international terrorism on the planet, despite your utterly naive view. Only a complete idiot, like Obama and you kool-aid drinkers, could construe these elections in Iran will be any different from any of the previous Iranian election.

Just pointing out the facts. Sorry it makes smearing conservatives more difficult for you...

Let's not forget that "who is really in power" is only in power because we orchestrated the overthrow of a democratically elected government and installed the Shah, who was friendly to U.S. oil interests. The Shah was hated by his people and public hostility led directly to the revolution that placed the Ayatollah in the driver's seat.

Thirty years later, democratic and progressive forces are finally starting to gain influence again. Iran has one of the most vibrant and engaged youth population in the world, and as their numbers grow they've been slowly reducing the power of the fundamentalist, reactionary facets of society. They still have a long way to go, but for that reason alone a progressive reformer is exactly who we want elected. Someone we can work with to further marginalize the Iranian hard-liners...

The neocons are just panicking because they're afraid of a repeat of Lebanon. They're terrified that Obama will make more progress with words than Bush did with two wars. They should be, because it shows just how badly they've failed....

Nothing like a little neocon optimism...

It doesn't matter if Iran applies to become the
51st state. It doesn't matter if Iran sends us postcards

with kittens and flowers.

It isn't about Iran. It is about the need to manufacture
a crisis to justify our hatred and paranoia.

I guess you took the time to speak with every "neocon" before you made your statement? Why must you generalize?

Are you kidding me, the neoCONS are like little robots marching to their daily marching orders, nothing new here.

If so true, why were the wingnuts foaming at the mouth when Obama said he would open up talks with Ahmedinwhatever?
