So, let's suppose the allegations are correct. It's ok to beat one gay person and send them to the hospital with a bleeding brain for "groping" or making a "sexual advance" on a cop?

What if a hot blonde with 44DDD hanging out of her top did the same thing? Would SHE end up in a hospital???

Count me in.

I think most of us do have a problem with that. I do.

No girl can be hot with 44DDD...DD yes but triple D? Yuck.

In any case, I doubt a hot blonde girl would have been arrested for making sexual advanced. She would have been let go without so much as a warning.

I have a problem with it but, as I've said before, they "raid" ALL bars like this and make arrests. The only difference in this case was the excessive force.

And, yes, these people were violating a very poorly written public intoxication law.

And that's the question that will hopefully be investigated thoroughly: Were the gay arrestees treated differently than the straight arrestees.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. However, when a police raid on a gay bar that ended in excessive police force on the 40th Anniversary of another gay bar raid that ended with excessive police force is suspicious, at best.

I think it's just a coincidence. I doubt these gay bashers went through the time to connect the dots or even look up what Stonewall means to the glbt community.
