AZ State Senator Allen testified before Congress in support of Uranium mining in her home state of AZ. During her testimony she said that, "The Earth has been around for 6000 years, which was long before environmental laws and everything has been just fine, so we should mine the uranium in AZ and get the revenue. Once they get all the uranium out of the ground, you won't even know the mine was there."
And some people wonder why Republicans are losing elections. LMAO!!!!!!
79% of Americans believe in a God. Thought you should know that and if you think that some obscure Arizona senator is the reason for the Dem takeover, then you have your head stuck in uranium laden sand.

You're probably right that 79% of Americans believe in a God, so I'll accept that for arguement's sake. But what % of them believe that the earth is only 6,000 years old?
Probably about the same number that believe in a geocentric universe, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy or claim that they were there when Jim Morrison "whipped it out" on stage!
To paraphrase someone (Shaw?), if a million people say a stupid thing, it's still a stupid thing.
When I encounter people with these strange beliefs I do all in my power to avoid them, including once dropping out of a foursome at golf and joining a later group for the remaining holes.
