I remember thinking to myself at the time that she must be one of the voters in AZ that put the current legislature into office.
Yeah, the Desert Museum is a great place! Early mornings are the best time to go, as the animals are more active. I haven't been in a while; need to go back and see what's changed.

We in Tucson are saddled with the idiots those in the rest of the state (particularly Maricopa County) vote in.

A lot of us Christians DO believe in God, do believe He created all things, and DO believe he did it on his own timetable that was not made up of 24 hour man defined days. We DO believe the earth is millions of years old. We do believe there were dinosaurs, etc. And we do NOT believe that belief in God is contingent upon ignorance.

Before you go all crazy here - how many states did Obama say he had visited during the campaign?

And, how many .... "errors" has Biden made?

So, I'd be careful before throwing anything towards the Republicans - the Democrats don't have a great track record either

Have they said that the earth is only 6,000 years old?

Probably about the same number that believe in a geocentric universe, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy or claim that they were there when Jim Morrison "whipped it out" on stage!

To paraphrase someone (Shaw?), if a million people say a stupid thing, it's still a stupid thing.

When I encounter people with these strange beliefs I do all in my power to avoid them, including once dropping out of a foursome at golf and joining a later group for the remaining holes.

I agree with you. Although, in general, I believe religion is good. Saying that the Earth is only 6,000 years old is ridiculous. In fact I believe that most people who say this can't really believe it.

My experience with religion is little old ladies with rosary beads and parents who go to church every Sunday (Catholic in Boston). These people never proselytize and they know the Earth is old.
I don't understand why some people cannot adapt to modern interpretations of the bible.

No but Biden did try to heal State Senator Chuck Graham of Missouri who has been in a wheel chair since childhood.

"Stand up Chuck, let everyone see you!"

Mistakenly using the wrong number of states > genuinely believing the Earth is 6,000 years old.

At any rate, I believe that about 50% of Americans claim that God created man exactly as he is today.

Either this was a Joe Biden moment, or he believes in magic.
