What is being asked is that MISINFORMATION and FALSE STATEMENTS about the plan be forwarded so that the administration can address them and make sure the citizens of this country get FACTUAL INFORMATION.

Decision making is all about making an educated decision using the information at hand.

If you have false information, how can you make a decision? You can't.

No one is asking that people be reported. No one is saying that you cant say what you want. They just want to be able to give people the correct info. That's it.

People need to stop making it more than it is.
Well, I understand what is being asked by the administration. Sure there are false statements as well as true statements out there about health care reform....the problem is...why should anyone in the public need to report to the government what those false statements are?? Does the administration not have access to the internet to see what is being posted?? Do they not watch the talking heads on TV? Listen to conservative radio?? Why do I need to tell them what they could and obviously should know for themselves? Something isnt right about this!

Yes, I believe it was part of the stimulus. Weren't those some of the created jobs?

And it gets more Orwellian all the time:

Section 163 of the bill now in Congress allows the government real-time access to a person’s bank records, including direct access to bank accounts for electronic fund transfers. “Even-though the bill mentions privacy aspects, the fact remains that if approved, Obama’s health care plan will allow government access at any time to your personal bank records,” KFYI News reports.

If I were concerned about expressing my opinion because the government would not like what I am saying, I would not post on a public forum. I want my opinion to be read and discussed. I actually hope they have somebody reading this stuff.

The administration can say whatever it likes about what the Bam's healthcare program is going to be. The reality and real basis for argument is that the healthcare program is going to be what Congress gives him.

And where you're talking about Congress, disinformation IS the key word.

Okay, you think something isnt right about.

What do you think the administration can do with this? If people only send a message through the website or e-mail about statements people are making, the only thing they can do is release material countering those statements with correct information.

Nothing more can be done with it. If you dont agree with doing this, then dont do it.

They already have access today. The Patriot Act gave it to them, if they wanted access.
But there is a good chance that you also gave them access.

Do you pay your taxes online? Do you get a direct deposit from any government agency (IRS/medicare/SS/Savings Bonds etc)?

You gave them access too.

Yeah, I think everyone knows that. It's called the system of checks and balances.

No, it is called getting re-elected every 2 years, and throwing whatever BS out there that will keep the electorate confused until after the election.

That is where the misinformation and misleading crap comes in.
