It goes without saying that if using federal money for illegals is against the law, then the legality iof the individual must be checked. Basically, if you don't check it, and give it to illegals you are breaking a law. Like I said this is nothing but a right wing MSM talking point which has been shot down to many times already. Yet, there are always some who some back to offer it again, and again.

Either way Wilson did the right thing when he begged for forgivenss. He knew he acted stupidly.

Section 152 states that "all health care and related services (including insurance coverage and public health activities) covered by this Act shall be provided without regard to personal characteristics extraneous to the provision of high quality health care or related services". This provision has the potential to include illegal immigrants because it may interpret "personal characteristics" to include legal status (Pages 50-51, 143).

2. Requires That If One Family Member Is Covered, All Members Covered: Another provision states that if one member of a family is afforded coverage all members would have coverage, thereby creating another loophole to give taxpayer-subsidized health care to illegal aliens. If a child of illegal aliens is born in the United States, then the entire family becomes eligible for coverage (Page 133).

3. Requires Free Translation Services: Sections 1222 of the bill will provide free translation services and interpreters to those who are not proficient in English. Section 1728 amends SCHIP to provide translation services to children of families and other individuals for whom English is not the primary language (Pages 408-418 and 782).
Dem. still think that the group of 3...Reid, Pelosi and their Messiah or puppet on a string...Obama, can say and is allowed to come up with any b.s. or lie and they really think no one will object!

Hard to do when we have a President who shows none of that. Obama thinks that he should be given respect because he is the Prez, and not earn the repect by his actions.

Pelosi's reaction is more disturbing to me than Obama's...Obama excepted it but Pelosi first stated she excepted it but after the Dem. came in her office they are going to take action against Joe Wilson...

I guess the Dem. don't like a person by the name of "Joe"...Wilson, Joe the Plumber...

I'm gonna have a huge laugh when the Dem. are going to penalize Joe Wilson on the floor...again more votes going to the Rep....it has been proven to be a lie so Joe is a hero!

Unfortunately, especially on 9-11, one of the worst aspects of Bush bashing and the constant catcalls of "Liar" from the libs, the MSM, and especially politicians who not only should have known better, but they did know better, is a steady erosion of support for our troops in Afghanistan. America has an enemy committed to our destruction, and the political calculation to call Bush a liar IMHO is going to come back to haunt us. And Pelosi et.al. will never accept the blame for their actions.

Ok I guess maybe I live in a different world because I would never yell at someone I worked with during a meeting unless I was planning on cleaning out my desk later.

Besides some positions demand respect - period. Do you tell your kids if they disagree with something their teacher says they have the right to stand up in the middle of the class and call her out on it?

Obama was being disingenuous, but Wilson's behavior was disrespectful.

Since Wilson apologized effusviely and in a timely manner, and the President accepted it, there is no reason to dwell on the incident.

There are plenty of reasons, however, to engage in a menaingful debate on the issues. Too bad our politicians seem reluctant to do so.
