Petty squabbling aside for a moment, what I really don't understand is that this took place in a restaurant where according to police MANY eye-witnesses came forward after the attack to assist with the investigations. Now wait a minute, how come no-one stepped forward to help this woman while she was being assaulted? What the hell is wrong with people these days.

I have never stated I'm superior to anyone.please don't assume you know my complete views. I have not said that I hate anyone. yes I'm open to the ideal of seperate but equal . that is my opinion. was only stating that maybe taking a look at a different way of doing things .yes in a fair and equal way .

This country tried segregation...it didn't work. It was neither fair nor equal and could never be.
Now we just have the "invisible" segregation and it doesn't help this country one bit.
I don't think many people these days would jump in unless it's someone they know personally.
Really? That's a pretty sad commentary I think. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I would have to try and help in some way. I have intervened before, and would do it again, although not a surefire way to guarantee longevity .

They should try telling that to my daughter who has served in the Armed Forces for almost 30 years and is a Sgt. Major. She has won more awards and received more commendations than 90% of the enlisted MEN in service.
