Just like Sweden, Denmark is a Nordic welfare state with most of its services free to the citizens. Expect to pay 72% of your money to the government on the highest income tax bracket. According to Wikipedia Denmark has the worlds highest taxes! When buying a car in Denmark one has to pay 25% VAT to the import price of the vehicle and then a 180% registration tax on top. That means when a car sells for $20 000, you have to pay an additional $45 000 as taxes for the government (total of $65 000). That’s why people in Denmark ride bikes or use one of the best public transport systems in the world. Denmark also has 2 autonomous provinces – the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The latter is over 50 times larger than Denmark but has about 100 times less people.

It is truely amazing that one can make that extrapolation- if A, then B, then C. Again, do we have to review this for you? This is a type 2 logic error and you conclusion has no relevance or truth whatsoever.
I can go over this for you again, if you wish. However, teaching logic and statistics to a liberal may be a little challenging, as you have been indocrtinated in the falacious "logic" of the left. I work to make money for myself, to spend how I see fit, to enhance my life as I see fit. I do not work to enhance the welfare of others. They are free to work for their own money to spend as they see fit. To take so much of one's own money to be redistributed by govt is an affront to personal freedom and liberty, and it me makes those who espouse it enemies of the same. Want my money? GTFO with that poisonous attitude!

Exactly- the insane message from the left is that the government, in its infinite wisdom, knows how to spend YOUR money much better than you do.
Liberalism is the tyranny of the government over the individual and the concession of individual thought and initiative to the "wisdom" of the state. How dense would one have to be to believe thier banter? Liberal dumb.
Oh they jump out of bed every morning and salute the flag and say the pledge...and then spend the rest of the day whimpering and whining about paying taxes because "their" money is being spent on their country and not exclusively on them alone.

They didn't actually survey how happy people are. The socialist leaning authors simply assumed the countries with more social programs would be happier.
No they didn't assume anything they asked them and recorded the results. Ypu might be happier if you don't have to worry about where your next meal is going to come from, whether you can pay that pesky mortgage and have a decent home, if you can take the kids to a proper doctor and not one in the bedlam that passes for an American ER or even if your employer is going to send you packing because business is a little slow or the companies profits were down in the last quarter. Most Scandinavians live in a world where these American traditions are just inconceivable so they are happy and look forward to a better tommorow.
