The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity, and Glenn Beck are NOT the news programs.
The NEWS segments have non-stop coverage of the earthquake. Is anyone on the left educated enough to understand the differance between commentary programs and NEWS programs?
Yes! We are also smart enough to realize that "Fox News" is an oxymoron!

Yes, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow all have commentary programs - all of them dedicated most, if not all of their program time to covering the disaster in Haiti.
It is a simple matter of caring about people in need, but, I guess someone at Fox decided that their viewers just aren't interested.
Score one for the 'bleeding heart liberals.'
On January 13, Fox News' three top-rated programs for 2009 -- The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity, and Glenn Beck -- devoted a combined total of less than 7 minutes of coverage to the earthquake in Haiti, instead choosing to air such things as Beck's hour-long interview with Sarah Palin, Bill O'Reilly's discussion of Comedy Central host Jon Stewart, and Sean Hannity's advocacy for Massachusetts candidate Scott Brown's Senate campaign. By contrast, the content of MSNBC's three top-rated shows underscored the significance of the Haiti disaster; Countdown, The Rachel Maddow Show, and Hardball devoted a total of more than two hours to the earthquake.
If people truly wanted to find out what was happening with the earthquake in Haiti, FOX "News" was not the place to check. Personally, I went with CNN.
Let me see if I can make this really really elementary for you. On CNN they had the Lou Dobbs program. Was that their news program or was that one of their news commentary programs?
The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity, and Glenn Beck are news commentary programs like Dobbs was.
I can assure you that FOX NEWS has been showing nothing but the earthquake because I have been watching it. Quite frankly when it comes to an event like this, I would watch CNN or FOX. I am sure CNN is reporting just like FOX.

Each of the opinion jockeys have news updates (after the commercials) on Fox News and the opinion jockeys do go to the three reporter guys on the ground in Haiti, plus they have one in Florida on the story (apparently where the resources sent, leave from) and one in DC. CNN may have suspended their regular shows on Wednesday to do round the clock coverage. The quake was on Tuesday but I'm thinking it took until Wednesday for news crews to get there from all networks. Hence, the Wednesday ratings presented. I know that in a disaster scenario, I'd probably choose CNN in the immediate aftermath, for coverage. But once some days have gone by and they start analyzing and opining, I'm back to Fox News.
I almost always watch FOX . If I want to see the dead or dying I know CNN will have better pictures . FOX has a loop overnight but CNN will stay live . Fox would break in but CNN is better late night .
I don't like CNN for many reasons but others bad fortune is CNNs time to shine.
FixNews is entertainment, as I really hope all of you know by now.
What would it be doing reporting news?
