Why absorb the blame yourself when it's so much easier to point your finger at the other party?

I fear you are wasting your breath here. They just don't get it or just cannot accept that it's their own party's fault that this extension didn't get passed. Shame on the republicans for trying to FOLLOW THE FREAKING RULES THE DEMOCRATS LAID OUT.

It really is time to seriously think about voting every single one of the current crop of clowns, democrats and republicans both, out and get a new crop of clowns.
You mean bring in the clowns who can really hurry up and get our country's bankruptcy over with?

Please, save your ignorance. Are you honestly attempting to attribute increased life expectancies the world over to universal health care?

House passes Medicare 'doc fix,' 243-183 - TheHill.com

It's across the board (will include all states).
This is all related to how the Dems want to pay for the health care overhaul.
The "doc fix" needs to be addressed and not to be bargained with in regard to Obamacare.
Here, in Hawaii, most of the doctors will not see medicaid patients and now it's spilling over to the medicare ones (many of the docs are only taking x amount of medicare). We had the "Keiki Care" which was a complete disaster, gave the government over here a glimpse at how creative fraud can get.
You can't fix fraud by cutting funds.
I thought they were suppose to be fixing health care

Its simple.. FUND THE BILL.. Why arent you whining at Democrats for not funding the bill?
Another tidbit about Bunning: He's blaming the GOP for the fact that he hasn't raised enough money to be able to run again.

Bunning accused fellow Kentuckian and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of freezing him out of fundraising he would need to mount a serious Senate campaign. Bunning said that Washington Republicans had “done everything in their power†to force him out.

"To win a general election, a candidate has to be able to raise millions of dollars to get the message out to voters," Bunning said in a statement. "Over the past year, some of the leaders of the Republican Party in the Senate have done everything in their power to dry up my fundraising."
- Bunning

Maybe he's trying to gain political points or maybe he's just a bitter 77 year old.

Please save your ignorance. If you don't know that preventative health care contributes to a longer life

uhm...only a tiny bit

facts are not about preventive medicine....in fact our being 1.2 years behind has nothing to do with medicine.....it has to do lifestyle

americans walk much less than euopeans and asians
americans are fatter
americans eat more fat
look at the food here,,,especially fast food (which has become the NORMAL meal) and also southern food (hamhocks, and chidlens(sp?)) and fried twinkies (they will fry anything...freid pickeles too)

no to mention the vast diversity of our population

has NOTHING to do with health care. health insurance.....its about lifestyles

Of course it does, but preventive care does not equate to universal health care. That's a mighty big leap of logic you're attempting to make.
