I can't say I'm a big fan of Sonic, never caught on with them. I don't even much care for the whole drive in thing.

Trader Joe's was here and doing just fine before the trendy upscale "foodie" culture became the "in" thing in Portland.

The foodie thing has been around Portland for 20 years or so (the late 80s, early 90s), since the rise of the really good farmer's markets - predates TJs (in Portland) by quite a bit.

can someone plz tell me...how did I go from being a troll to now being a 'senior member'. Did you guys notice that? I am senior member, from now on you read my posts and listen to my wisdom, I understand what should and shouldn't be here in Portland!
