Ugh, it's still a team game. Ravens were supposed to get Rice back in week 3, and we all know what happened there. Forsett stepped up for them in a big way.
You say you're not placing an asterisk next to the win, then you go ahead and do so.
Jimmy Smith is one of the better corners in the NFL too. Not the 2nd best, but somewhere up there. He won the Super Bowl on that last play for them.
I don't think so. I made another post in the deflate-gate thread.
As a Pats fan, I really have to think how I feel. But those players execute on the field. They were easily the better team against the Colts, soft balls or bricks. We will probably never know the whole truth to this scandal - who deflated the balls and why. I could put out a conspiracy theory that since the Pats are scrutinized, a plant was inside to purposefully harm the Patriots. I'm not saying another team - could be about money. But's it's all just a stupidly fun guess.
I think the officials could be disqualified, fined, etc. They touch every ball, and they didn't call this out to the NFL? It took a player making an interception to do so? It just smells a little funny to me. Still though, it happened (it appears from initial reports).

Maybe, we don't know, they didn't even try. They ran what? 3 times the entire game?
If that was the case though, it likely had nothing to do with the RB, but the horrible Oline of NE.

Their legacy will be shrouded with suspicions, cheating scandals, etc. I feel sorry for all the players.

Yup. That will never go away, ever. They will forever be looked at probably no differently then the White Sox of 1919 or Lance Armstrong or baseball juicers.

Patriots haven't face a defense like this since the 2012 Ravens with Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and not even that defense is in the same level as the Seahawks.
Road games.
And you know, overinflated balls in GB.
And this Seattle defense isn't in the same league as the 2012 Ravens.

Yeah, because filiming from the wrong location for one half of one came (which is really what spygate was about) and adjusting the balls (which is well known to be done by every team) is the same as the White Sox scandal.

It's all about perception and not just the facts. Perceived level of "cheating" outside of Massachusetts will smell the same, especially coupled with the Patriots being so successful.
I hope you're not trying to say the 2012 Ravens defense was better than this year's Seattle defense.
