Here are the results after week 1, and glad I'm doing this because not saying names but I caught at least 4 people giving false standings but I write everything down before I post it to fact-check... Anyway, 22 people participated and here it is.
Thanks for doing this, aquacannon! I was just about to post the standings. These match exactly what I have, so Week 1 is verified, accurate, and in the books. 22 participants this year compared to 19 in Week 1 last year. Welcome to the new pickers! It is a great group of pickers. Week 1 was a big improvement over last year. How great is it to have football back even if the Cowboys won 40-0?
Detroit @ Kansas City - 20-2 Chiefs. Very happy we won and beat the defending SB champs on national television. Congrats to IXCell and everwinter for getting this right.
Carolina @ Atlanta - 17-5 Falcons.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland - 17-5 Bengals. Burrow is now 1-5 against the Browns and I believe of the last 11 meetings, Browns have won 9 of them. The Bengals have to stop the trash-talking pre-games.
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis - 22-0 Jaguars.
Tampa Bay @ Minnesota - 22-0 Vikings. Everyone missed this game. Baker and Mike Evans had a connection but it was close.
San Francisco @ Pittsburgh - 14-8 49ers.
Arizona @ Washington - 22-0 Commanders. Cardinals actually looked good on defense, don't know if it was their opponent or week 1?
Houston @ Baltimore - 21-2 Ravens.
Tennessee @ New Orleans - 13-9 Saints.
Miami @ LA Chargers - 13-9 Chargers. Really good back and forth game, 70 points scored total.
Philadelphia @ New England - 20-2 Eagles. Actually a competitive game, and if the Patriots had cleaned up their own mistakes, they maybe could've shocked.
LA Rams @ Seattle - 19-3 Seahawks. I just don't understand what went wrong here. But felicitations to FierceKaia, DRob4JC, and everwinter for calling the win.
Green Bay @ Chicago - 9-9 [Push]. I don't think anyone saw that blowout coming, but hats off to the Packers for figuring it out and yeah, they looked really good.
Las Vegas @ Denver - 13-9 Broncos.
Dallas @ NY Giants - 13-9 Cowboys. Yeah that was a real blowout. Me and maniac wish it would've went in the other direction but one team came in ready for war.
Buffalo @ NY Jets - 13-9 Bills. We hope Rodgers is able to come back and pray his injury is nothing serious. But they got the W even without him. Garrett's td catch and the punt return were truly exceptional plays.
Thanks for the analytics! Above .500 is good for Week 1.
Jets coach Robert Saleh confirmed after the game that Rodgers will likely miss the season and Wilson will be the starter. They’ll get official test results on the Achilles today.

SO I went 8-8 I did not watch the game last night past the first Quarter, I switched over to scary movies and went to bed thinking the Jets lost. Nothing scarier than a torn achilles in the opening drive. Well, maybe a giant 70 foot ants attacking a city, but not much else...
Hopefully I will get to watch some games next weekend.

They save the best for last, LOL! J/k. I really need to pick it up!
Thanks for the results, aqua & congrats to maniac77 on the top score!
