You will need 2 apple trees close enough to cross pollinate & produce apples.
I know and so does he ... hence why I start to have a cow when he wanted to put it in the middle of the yard. I want a swimming pool. Not and orchard . It was the same agruement with the tomatoes and mint. My know it all husband did not listen and planted the mint in the ground.... now everytime I mow the lawn it smell like mouthwash . The he planted way tooo many tomatoes and then come peek time I started to see rats in my garden and the backyard was overflowing with tomatoes . I don't mind a few rabits... but once I noticed it was rats biting my tomatoes and pull the plants out.
If you end up with a woman with grand kids you get the best taste of being around kids during the good times and not having to deal with the unfun stuff !
Some childless men in later life might consider a woman of compatible age with no children a goal, but myself, I would prefer a woman (perhaps a widow) who has a nice family that I could integrate into, people who could become like family to me.
It would also take a woman and a family that the family didn't think that I was stealing away their mother's attention from them. That would require fairly mature and well adjusted (adult) children that didn't feel like I was taking "mommy" away from them.
My mother remarried late in life, and I became great friends with her new husband. I considered him like a second father, and I really liked his kids (adults) too! (I would still be friends but all of them live too far away to sustain a relationship, 1,000+ miles and two of them not even in US.)
Yes there is a correct amount of tomatoes to plant: just enough. Plant how much you use + how much you usually give away or share/trade with other neighbors. No more.
You can fix a "too many tomatoes" problem. Just delete plants until you have the right amount.
I agree with what you have above - I do not think the laws are fair. Though it is typical when the pendulum swings to the other side. This started as women having no rights and the guy walking away from families he created with no obligation.
I have noticed this too. I see a lot of people on this forum that seem to blame feminism for their lack of being in a relationship with a female. This annoys me because as a female it implies that they would only want someone if they could dominate them and tend to substitute being in a relationship with female with people/ things they can more easily control ex a pet or a prostitute.
I get the vibe from certain men that if they are not in the control seat they don't want to be in the situation. I think this is likely more subconscious. Not all women or men are the same, but I always found is really annoying when men back away from women that can hold their own. They become intimidated and then resentful.
This basically sums it up. Most of these disgruntled men are modern day Neanderthals; they know their time is up and extinction is upon them. But they will still go out kicking and screaming, burning the last of their energy and resources fighting a futile fight.
I think there are two flavors of feminism. One for gender equality, the other militant.
There is a third: The rabid, mindless variety, which recently criticized Emma Watson for her too-sexy Vanity Fair cover. Her critics somehow feel it is UN-feminist for a woman to be and look like... a woman. I guess they feel "feminism" is about erasing the feminine.

While I definitely agree that the social media circular firing squad gets ridiculous, the root of the criticism is that if you're someone who campaigns that women are more than their bodies and should not be sexually objectified, then maybe don't pose practically topless in a magazine.

My counterargument is that women can still be respected despite being sexually objectified since they are not the ones objectifying themselves, other people are, and surrendering to those peoples opinions of how they "should" represent themselves is a cop-out.
