Boy, that's funny. C-D won't let me use the last three letters of kayak as an abbreviation. I can guess why we can't use the name of a certain type of three-lettered fishing lure that starts with a "j" , but I'm still scratching my head about the short nick-name for kayak.

These yaks are so big my wife is standing up and throwing her 6' cast net. I can stand up and cast when I am in a flat protected area.

Went for a sunset cruise with friends tonight....without a rod. It was 'fishy' out there so I turned around and went back home for a rod. Got a legal snook and a redfish in a few minutes of fishing, and we took them right home for a great dinner. There were plenty of fish out there tonight, everywhere, but we left after these fish as they were plenty for all of us (and we only had enough ice for the beer!...we had to make it work). The girls cooked the fish a few different ways after the guys got eaten alive filleting in the dark....only 30min after this pic.

It's been awhile since the waters looked 'fishy' enough for me to fish, but it's time for me to get back in it. The redfish was a little 23" and the snook was 29". The laugh on my face was because my friends onboard didn't want to go back to my dock for a rod...they were happy with frozen pizza for dinner. From now on, when I say it looks fishy they will believe. Small fish, but perfect dinner size.
