Lovely - I supposedly already have MAXX and that download should be 100. No wonder I'm not noticing any difference!

Did a test while connected directly to the modem using an Ethernet cable to get a more valid speed measurement. I'm satisfied.

Tired of waiting!

I just chatted with TWC Rep. 27529 is scheduled for October 6th hub upgrade. He said the new speeds are likely to follow approximately a week later.

With the bandwidth being offered in the area now, Raleigh is starting to feel like a thoroughly modern city.

Question - I need to have my speed increased to what it's supposed to be, but when I call TWC I end up shipped off somewhere to someone who doesn't seem to know how to help. I'm reading on this thread that others are getting to knowledgeable people...so clearly I'm not saying the right things. What is the secret to getting a tech who can help?

Once I called and the tech rebooted my modem and told me to wait two weeks to see if it would improve. This was before MAXX so maybe now it's one week.

TWC and Earth link customer service are telling me that the speed upgrade is only for TWC customers, not EarthLink - so this is surprising to me. Can any other Earth Link customer confirm they are seeing improved speeds?

TWC should check their own website.
