I have friends all across the country who are green with envy at the bandwidth I'm now getting from TWC.

I finally broke down and ordered a Motorola Surfboard SB6183. No clue when I'm getting my upgrade at this point, and no clue if/when I'm going to get Google Fiber..

It's down to 114 on Amazon right now and Prime eligible, so yeah..

I switched to the Motorola SB6183 from the SB6121 immediately after TWC upgraded me and I didn't see the speed increase. It was worth it for me because I doubt any ISP will run fiber by my house in the foreseeable future. The company that was planning to essentially gave up.

Got back from our trip and looks like MAXX is live in 27701. I'm on Earthlink and got the 100/10 bump as expected. Woohoo!

I live at Twin Lakes off of Davis in West Cary. Talked to EarthLink support earlier today and was told that we will get the max upgrade speeds on October 10th. Finally.
