I don't really have a preference one over the other. I think the taste of the food isn't that much different, but Olive Garden is a little easier on the wallet and has more promotions.

Southpoint is definitely the best mall option around here IMO

I think there's a huge difference in quality, and the difference in price is minimal. But I guess I tend more towards value over price. I prefer to spend a little more for better food and atmosphere.

I don't think Southpoint would go for a OG. They try to maintain a more "upscale" environment. I could see one going across the street though.

who cares about olive garden in 2017 might as well ask for a Shoneys

I would also like to note the food truck concepts that keep going to the foodcourt and busting

we like say going to the chipotle cruising to the cinnbon and watch the kids crawl all over each other in the little play area from upstairs southpoint is a good place to get some mall laps

As far as the store mix goes:

Crabtree followed by Southpoint, then TTC, CTC, and Northgate

Northgate has really gone downhill after Belk closed its store there. It's essentially a dead mall being held up by a struggling retailer.

OT: I really miss South Square

Johnny Carino's used to be across the street. I could see them putting a location on 15-501

where does North Hills rank among the options listed here? I'd put it third behind Southpoint and Crabtree

Personally, I don't go to North Hills for shopping. I go there for movies, dining, or events.

North Hills USED to be a mall. Now it is an outdoor shopping area.

I certainly miss the old North Hills enclosed mall from back in its heyday, but if you include the new version here then you may as well include places like Crossroads.

We live in mid Cary. Wife will occasionally go to the department stores in Cary Town center but is more a TJ MAX fan. Southpoint is nice but got turned off after some gang issues there a few years ago. As others have said, parking at Crabtree can be bad. Not much in a mall to appeal to a gearhead like me any more. When I was young you could go to Sears and buy yourself a motorcycle!
