This BOE is full of liars. School principals knew of this proposal prior to tonight.

I wonder if any one realizes the rotation starting November 16 will result in probably one week of school in person before Christmas break. MAYBE two if they're lucky.

And NO talk of how they'll bring back HS. I guess they will work on that on, like, January 20.
Maybe 4 days given the one day of non-live including when you are rotated to go to school.
What's the point of 4 days before the holidays.

Martin, Heagarty, Sutton, Kushner, etc- all just a s-t-show! and 3.5 hours of crap.

I was happy that Plan B HS stays out until (maybe) 2nd semester- did not want to deal with possible change of schedule and/or teachers.

Selfishly, me too, because we committed to VA for the 1st semester and if the high schoolers did go back I'd have one unhappy kid LOL. But they better be working on a plan NOW for that to happen because this board seems incapable of looking past tomorrow.

I looked at the calendar, there's 4 full weeks of school after Nov 16 and two partial weeks (Tgiving and Xmas weeks).

I didn't watch this so thanks. Martin comes off as quite hysterical, no surprise since he teaches at State which handle this situation pi$$ poor too and he's probably one of the profs causing all the drama over there too.

And what's the 3rd way he's talking about?

Lots of teachers love him BTW. THat's where all his support is coming from. His challenger's write in campaign is taking off so he needs the teachers in his district.

Yep- not much at all. My middle school kid will get a few days in while his HS sister is home.

I doubt they will even look at that until December. And then who knows who will be on the board then.

Yes

"How can we get people to stop buying houses in West Cary?" is exactly what he said (and then arts programs mysteriously disappeared from west Cary schools and the teachers were moved to magnets).
