I finally found a lawyer who is willing to represent me on this case. She’s gonna file a claim for me.
She’s gonna file claims for age discrimination, race discrimination, nation of origin discrimination and retaliation towards my complaints.
I feel much better now.
What about a job? Have you found a job or just been looking for a lawyer
Please take a look at the link above. I currently own three trucks here in Charlotte and my two highest performing trucks last year grossed nearly $700,000. If being an entrepreneur isn't for you; you can always get your twic card and a HazMat endorsement and pull container loads back and forth from Raleigh to the port in Wilmington and the ports in Charleston or be a fuel hauler locally in the Triangle (both of these company employee positions can pay well over $2,000 a week for someone who hustles). Or you can continue to sue over the loss of a job that probably wasn't nearly as good as what I'm trying to show you.
I'm not at all trying to be a jerk I'm just trying to show you a little bit of game that only requires a high school diploma. I've been on both sides of the spectrum (minimum wage living in public housing and being pre-approved for a million dollar mortgage). Back during my barely above minimum wage days it felt hopeless and suing employers was something that I had contemplated as well many times. That type of thinking typically comes from a low and desperate place. You have many other options and I've just showed you 3 of them. The ball is in your court now friend!
Good news! My former employer has sent a counselor to negotiate with my lawyer. If I can go back to work, that would be perfect. Otherwise our settlement would ask for compensation of my wage for at least half a year.

I'm not sure I would want to go back because the working relationship will always be tainted since you will be marked for suing the company. The company may also stipulate that you do not return in exchange for accepting a monetary settlement.
I rather doubt a settlement is in the cards at this point. They're meeting with you to see what kind of case you've got.
