Great game tonight--I started following the Canucks in the 90s despite living in NC, and years like this don't come too often for Canuck fans.

Good luck the rest of the way unless the teams meet again in June!

Agreed it was an entertaining game. Honestly, it could have gone either way. Nice to see the Canes stick with one of the top, and hottest teams in the league. We just need to stay out of the box (even with the shorty).

I'm not impressed with Jesperi Kotkaniemi. For what he's being paid and the length of his contract, he isn't showing up where he's needed, aka the scoresheet. 3 points in 25 games isn't good enough, especially when scoring can dry up with this group.

I get why he was given this contract but sometimes mistakes are made, and I think this is one of those instances. I'd rather that money go to Necas or Jarvis who are both going to need new contracts this summer.

Agreed. A regression from last season. Might be an undisclosed injury, might not.

Thats what I wonder considering how he started the year. It looked like we were finally going to get the star some expected him to become.

And then he fell flat.

Well at least Martin Necas seems to be heating up. I'm sure he's seeing dollar signs for his next contract but for the time being, he's at least making a case to keep him.

Canes are 4 points behind the Rangers, with one game in hand.
A few points Out West this week would be golden. And, hard-earned, methinks. Dallas, Arizona, Vegas.

Wonder if we can draft Taylor Swift to be our mascot?

Spencer Martin!
Who would have predicted that he would stand so tall in net?

Now... The Canes need not to have a letdown at PNC tomorrow night against the Blackhawks!

I'd say mission accomplished big time. Slight lapse in defense allowed the Hawks to start to have hope, but over all dominated the game.
