Yeah. The Canes had strokes of brilliance in this series but the intensity was inconsistent. Against the Rangers, they will need to put in 60 minutes per night minimum.
Playoffstatus.com has the Rangers a 60-40 favorite. Moneypuck.com has the Rangers a 54-46 favorite. Seems to me it's even except that the Rangers have home ice advantage. The Canes' woes early in the season (specifically, the string of 8 losses in 11 games) are why we don't have home ice. Oh well, can't do anything about that now except remember it next season.
