Oh, in case of doubt, one should be in ones seat at the earlier time!
Apparently, the Canes read your post and started the game 30 minutes late. We don't blame you, Matt!
Boy, oh Boy, but ESPN has ZERO clue how to present hockey video. ZERO.
Or, we didn't get their A Team, or their B Team either.
It was unbelievably bad. The red line camera is worthless, as well as jumping back and forth between corner ice level and center ice cameras.
Playoffstatus.com has the Rangers a 60-40 favorite. Moneypuck.com has the Rangers a 54-46 favorite. Seems to me it's even except that the Rangers have home ice advantage. The Canes' woes early in the season (specifically, the string of 8 losses in 11 games) are why we don't have home ice. Oh well, can't do anything about that now except remember it next season.
The Western part of Wake is real happy….Year after Year what gets this team over the hump? Not selling tickets to the opposition is not the solution.
Yes, Shesterkin has outplayed Andersen so far. But the biggest problem the Canes have at the moment is failure to score on the power play. 10 opportunities in two games, 0 goals.

I knew the game was over in the 3rd period when the Canes just kept passing the puck around the perimeter of the Rags' zone looking for the "perfect" shot, and repeatedly settling for obvious shots from very deep straight into the goalie. No one within like 20 ft of the net to even try to play for a rebound shot. Looked like all their early goals came from aggressive moves towards the net and then deflections off of a teammates' stick, then they just....stopped trying by the end of the 2nd.
Overall I have not been impressed with the team in these playoffs. The same issues (road woes, bad special teams, too many guys not showing up on the scoresheet when needed) are once again popping up again. I don't understand why this team has problems on the road in the playoffs.
I did not agree with yesterday's decision to sit Kuznetsov. He at least can create offense and find the back of the net.
A collection of highly talented individuals that follow a system to a fault... but zero killer instinct by our elite players.
