I need to get my guy into a 4yo preschool program for the next school year. Nothing fancy, just a social outlet with some structure. Affordability is an important concern A Christian affiliation would be fine. Given my location, probably something on the W or S of Durham or the E or S of Chapel Hill would work best. Does anyone have any recs, leads, anything? I know I'm months behind in trying to secure a spot

Indioblue I was in the same spot.. my daughter is also 4. We went with St. Stephen's Episcopal Preshcool in the Hope Valley Area. http://www.st-stephens-episcopal.org/preschool.html (broken link)

When I called in late February the director did say she had a couple of spots open for 4 year old girls. I did not ask if the gender balance... all the preschools here do so I think I assumed they did. So I don't know if that meant they had spots open for boys or not. For 4 year olds at St. Stephens you pick between 4 days & 5 days a week. They offer both.

The directors phone number is on the website... she was very helpful and friendly. I believe she is in the office from 8:30 am to Noonish. The prices went up a bit for next year from the website... 4 days was $260... I don't recall the 5 day price.

If you have any questions feel free to pm me. You also might get more info on trianglemommies.com.
Good luck!
