Pretty soon the Triangle will be exploding with fall colors. I hope to get some photos over the next few weeks as we move through October into the cooler month of November and the leaves begin to change. If you have any picutres of Fall in the Triangle please post them here!

Here is a picture I recently took during a visit to Falls Lake. No foliage change of note (mostly pine trees) but I do enjoy the fall flowers we have in the area.

These aren't the greatest pics b/c they are from my car, it was raining, and I was using my camera phone. Regardless, I LOVE this area in the fall. I grew up there and my parents still live there. This is St. Mary's Rd. in Hillsborough, Hardscrabble, and my parent’s neighborhood are on the Durham County side. Wish I wasn't in a car and had a real camera on me, b/c the rolling hills with all tree colors are absolutely beautiful. Off of St. Mary's is Pleasant Green Rd. and is also worth checking out. Bahama and Rougemont are gorgeous this time of the year too.

Hardscrabble to the left and right.

Hardscrabble "lake" side.

Some are very recent and others are a bit older but all are from the area. I'm a bit late to the thread but plan to be a lot more active in this forum from now on.
