Does anyone know the history on this Church in Knightdale? I passed by the decided to take a shot of it, but can't find much about it. It's on Mial Plantation Rd.

That's the old Oaky Grove Church. It stands on the Mial Plantation site owned by the Williamson family of Raleigh. Just google Mial Plantation/Oaky Grove Church for lots of great stuff

This is only one section of the market area, so to speak, but it has a lively feel to it. A collection of consignment stores, bakeries (rather inexpensive with a good selection), boutiques, and even a shop that sells ceramics to paint on the premises. The lights and decorations just add extra fun.
Be cautious, though, because there are no buttons to press at the crosswalks, and although people are supposed to yield to pedestrians, most of the crosswalks are at the edge of the traffic circle surrounding the courthouse (which is in the second picture). Sometimes it can be difficult to stop or slow down in the traffic circle, as I'm sure you all understand. You have to time your crossing well and move quickly, that's all. Otherwise, it's a very fun and family-friendly trip!
