Okay wings weren't great but the Smirnoff and conversation made up for it plus today we casino'd and Mr. L hit $200 off the bat.

I so want to put the damn heat on-it's freezing.

The only thing is, do you think that anyone would think our bottom line is $340,000 if we reduce to $350,000? Sometimes want to sell it at any price, and sometimes don't want to sell it at all because the three kids would be homeless or forced to move with us to MO, which they don't want to do.

Boy, Tambre that's a tough one - especially the kiddies not wanting to move to MO - and some days not even wanting to sell at any price. I don't think the reduction will make ppl think your bottom line is $340k if you drop to $350k - they might think you're still leaving even more negotiating room. I can't remember what your bottom line was, but IF you decide you do still want to sell, maybe just cut the the chase and list it, non-negotiable, at your true bottom line. But this is a tough decision to make with kids and really liking your house.

I thought I was going to die last night...think it was a gall bladder attack. Man did that hurt, and I felt like I was going to puke, but never did. Was doing all kinds of yoga and other positions to make it feel better. It probably would have looked really funny.

Are you feeling better now? If not might want to have a doc check ya out. That doesn't sound good especially if you're still hurting.

did you hear about the 66 y.o. mother who had twins through fertility intervention. She just died. Seems to me that 66 is a little too old to start having kids, but hey, each to their own. Just feel sad that she left the little ones behind.

That is sad, but I really don't know what a 66 year old woman was thinking by intentionally getting pregnant at that age. It's a known fact that the older a woman is the higher the risk - and now those poor kids are orphans

Do it Ma! LOL and that would be the perfect name for the biz!!! You could start by transforming the junk in your yard to some sort of piece of art or something

BBL gotta go get Screech (neighbor) her pain meds...why did I pick up the FREAKing phone
'cause you're a good neighbor - a curse, I know, but you're a good neighbor that's why. (you could always take a couple out of the bottle for 'services rendered' LOL)

Sometimes I want to turn Albert into a muff or something - course then he looks at me with those sweet eyes and I 'forget' what a pain in the a$$ he can be. Texas, good to see you back. Hope you get that wallpaper to come off without too much of a battle. Painter, good to hear you have some time off. Enjoy your cooler weather. Hi everyone. Lorrie, how are you feeling? Dogmom, any more calls from A#1? Lacey, how is Mr L?

I am feeling so much better today Tambra I guess it took awhile to get my BP up and my heart rate today was 77. That is why I am on these meds for a rapid heart rate but it also effects the BP. I am not sure if I ever said but when i was in my 20's DH and I both had a good doctor and the CO dh was working for had both of us go see this doctor and had a full check up. He took my ekg and said he wanted to do it again he said it looked like i had (his words) an episode. I was always so healthy but did have chest pains every once in awhile. My grandfather did die of a heart attack when he was 27 and died and both my mom and grandmother had heart problems. My grandmother did live until her mid 80's and my mom died when she was 79 after heart surgery. I really have no use for doctors for that reason since she didn't need the surgery and other reasons. Anyway this doctor who I saw in my 20's had me take my pluse several times a day for a week and resting my number was 150. He tried to get me to take inderal but i wasn't into meds at the time but several years later I started taking it and what a difference. No more chest pains. I stopped the inderal 4 years ago for what my so called doctor said was a better med and long lasting. The Co Pay is $50 so I had the druggist call my GP in FL to give me the long lasting inderal (It has a generic name as does the reg one that I took did also) The rest is history. Live and learn

See I am writing a book and making up for lost time at the camp.

Dang, Lorrie, I knew when I hit submit that I had missed a GF - so hard when so many posts to go through and all that. I'm glad you're feeling better and didn't realize about family history - but these meds help right?

Ok, so we're on year 2+ of being on the market, and now our ad doesn't even appear in the paper anymore. Even though our agent is a friend, we're thinking we will take a break and get some fresh insight from some new agents after our listing is up. We don't really know if there are NO buyers in our price range, or if our price is wrong. FYI, we just refinanced and the bank appraisal is $25000 lower than our asking price, but I watch the sold listings and there's never anyhing sold around here unless its in the low hundreds.

Default Tambra

I am so sorry here I just went on about me and never asked how you are feeling today. Never had a gall bladder attack but I do know how it must feel since I have friends who also suffer from it.

You are also right about the house but the price drop will bring more PB and that is a good thing.
Lorrie

That's great news Lorrie. You had me worried there for awhile.

Enjoy, Joy. I never liked those male strip clubs. I only went once, and the dancers were making-out with all the customers. It was pretty raunchy, but kinda funny, too.

I guess we'll have to drop the price or else we'll never get out of here.

Tambre, my thinking on this moving thing, and since we have made a couple of moves in the last 5 years that we really regret, is really be sure. Are you ok leaving your kids? I only ask because when I was away from mine when we lived in Utah, I really missed them, and I think DP missed them even more.

Maybe the timing for moving is not right yet..lots of people HAVE to move for financial reason, work reasons, whatever. I just know after our moving 4 times since 2003, I wish we had just stayed in the place we had been in here in So Cal for so long. It was and still is home to me..Although, I have to say, this is becoming a close 2nd. We are really enjoying our home here even though we feel lke we are living in the bowel of He** due to the heat right now..but it's cool inside. DP and I are even thinking about putting in a small pool when we landscape the back..

I just know from our experience we wish we had considered all things

gentlearts, so when you refied the appraisal came in $25,000 lower than list. What's your bottom line? Because if nothing is selling in your area unless its in the low $100s (though don't know your list price) could be your list price. But just not enough details here to give you some advice. 2 years is a long time, but then again you could be in an area that is just really, really down.
