My son and Sister In Law refuse to eat green beans unless I make them that way. And I love them too.
You could always do Green Beans Almondine.
That is delicious. I can smell the vinegar on the hot pan. Thanks for the recipe.

I forgot to say that most of the time, I just use whatever 'dressing' I have in my fridge.
I sometimes put green beans in a homemade pot pie, or in a quiche.
I make pizza sometimes with homemade crust and a tahini sauce (or hummus) as the spread over it, then add roasted green beans, mushroom, onion, and black olives. Pineapple would be good with this too.
Another one I've done is simmer green beans, apple slices, sunflower seeds, and pepper in orange sauce.
add at the last minute so they have some crunch to them- to my adult mac-n- cheese -I use half the cheese, substituting a quarter cup of pesto instead, and mix boneless chicken and fresh green beans last minute- its pretty yummy.
Or, pan cook some boneless chicken (garlic pepper sesame sea salt and olive oil) when the chicken is cooked half way, flip it over and add in a pile o' green beans and finish the dish, adding in a pat of butter and a good squeeze of lemon at the end, that one was pretty good too!
I use the basic green bean casserole , but instead of cream of mushroom , I use cheddar cheese soup or cream of chicken (my daughter did that one a couple of years ago and it was delish ) it also put a new spin on a classic dish . Everyone at the table really liked it and there was none left . LOL .
Never thought I'd get THIS many ways to use the ole green bean
Thanks all
