Actually, back in the day, I DID audition for Laura Croft, Angelina Jolie got the part, but I couldn't have been that bad pre-baby to b sent to the same casting session as her...
I kept all of my pay subs etc for fun too.
Right. I doubt there were any auditions as the part was probably sent to her to take if she wanted it. You are talking about someone who is considered one of the most beautiful actresses in the world. Plus I'm sure an action figure would be closer to 5'8" (Angelina Jolie) instead of 4"8'.

I forgot all about the audition because I thought it was gonna be a silly movie about a video game, but then when I saw the actual movie, a year or so later, I was so flattered they asked me to audition.

I say screw acting you should be a fictional writer for some of the stories you post here.
cause saying you are a actor is one thing but saying your auditioned for a lead part in a multi-million doller film is pretty out there and unbelievable
