First off...don't you think David Wolf had any responsibility in his relationship with Wendi???? He was the one that took a vow of marriage and had a family. He could have kept it in his pants. Wendi isn't the only one at fault there.
Wendi married Murdoch 17 days after his divorce was finalized. How long was he legally separated for? When did they start divorce proceedings? Maybe he and his wife were having marital problems prior to meeting Wendi. Who the heck knows!?! Again, Murdoch is a bright man, hardly naive. I find it incredibly hard to believe he was taken advantage of by Wendi and her "gold digging" ways. Maybe he likes the fact that she's driven. I get the feeling that they both enjoy talking business and make a great partnership.
1) I never said that Rupert Murdoch was naive or being taken advantage of. If anything, he saw Wendi as an asset to helping him in the Chinese media market. I do give Wendi for being a very driven woman....most gold diggers and social climbers are.
2) Rupert Murdoch's 2nd wife (the one he was married to for 31 years) indicated in an interview that the Rupert-Wendi affair began before the separation and was basically the cause for the end of the marriage.

3) The initial affair (in which Wendi pulled a Soon Yi and was able to come to America was with Jake Cherry) I never said that he was blameless but Wendi was obviously the one with the most to gain (and did by gaining a green card) before moving on to David Wolf (the one who financed her Yale grad school education)
4) Why can't we all just appreciate her talents/skills in sleeping her way to the top and stop trying to sugar-coat it. She went from being in nowhere mainland China to becoming the wife of a media mogul....she should write a book or teach a Learning Annex class on the topic
You Go Wendy! Protect your hubby! I bet he treats her well, and he doesn't have to be young or attractive to deserve to be loved by his wife. Bad husbands should take note: if you treat your wife well, she'll do the same thing for you.

What's interesting after skimming that article, is that the MO here goes beyond the stereotype of a mail order bride; a woman simply looking to be taken care with a better lifestyle than can be found in her own country. A lifestyle that could also be considered meager by many of us. What this lady is doing goes far beyond that. The gold she appears to be after is more than money.

I am curious, heres a question to those who say her vagina is the only reason she's made it: can you get into, and perform well, at Yale? And could you do it at an equally prestigious university at which nothing is taught in your mother tongue?
Oh nonsense. She's hardly a supermodel in looks. What has taken her far is her sharp mind. Rich, powerful men expect more than a nice body and pretty face, they want a women who can bring something to the table and thus elevate the both of them to a higher status.
