I think that if they're on the edge of falling in love, then quite probably this can be true. If they're already in love, it could be true, or perhaps sex just tops off the loving feelings.
They do or they bolt and you'll never hear from them again. Its like hearing her singing for the first time in front of all of your friends and finding out shes tone deaf. You can't go back if it sucked
If I could turn the question around (sorta)...so, if I guy really likes a woman and wants to deepen his relationship with her, he can get her to fall in love with him just by having a lot of sex with her? (assuming it's good and he does some things right, pays attention to her, etc..) btw - I'm not being facetious with this question, I'm honestly curious.

To answer your question (as a female), I have had sex with the intention of creating deeper feelings for the guy....never worked out for me. I feel exactly the same way for the guy before and after.
I disagree swiss. There is no such thing as just sex for many men and the type you describe I have met few times in my life. Although I suppose if your test group is 20 something year old club hopping ecstasy/viagra combo droppers then it is probably true.

well I am over 40 and have met many men who can quite happily differentiate between love and sex. And more then a handful of women too. If this were not the case why do many visit prostitutes / have affairs they have no intention of furthering... ?? maybe because they just want sex....
