This goes back to my previous about men being able to compartmentalize. Sex to me is rarely about love but rather feeling good with someone you find attractive or shucks just getting some well needed release with someone you could care less about.
While sex can be seen as a physical expression of love. I feel like my time and prescence while fully clothed is a bigger physical expression. Sex is the easy part but its after the climax where the true testament of feelings comes into play.
Going back to your question. Why was I there? I don't know a variety of reasons. Bored? Too much booze (those beer googles can be a doozy sometimes)? I didn't want to drive back to the burbs after a long night of partying and needed a place to crash?
In the case of the later I was actually being a responsible citizen. I chose sex with an otherwise unremarkable person over driving unsafely. Safety first!
