We lived in Western NY and it was 15 hours by car to get here. I swear I was getting bedsores on my rear spending that much time in the car!
We visit my dad... he's about 4.5 hours away... and that is about as far as I can handle anymore.... I'm getting to hate driving in cars.......makes me crazy.....

I don't mind a few hours here and there...but I agree...more than 4 hours gets boring. I've gone through my ipod and sang every song I can...and then I'm just done!
Ooohh, speaking of chunky (not you, Chunky!), I had a good-size slice of pie with ice cream today! I tried the peach one as I bought a whole apple pie. I'll take most of it to the office, but still... Buuuut, after all I did go to a place famous for pies and I'm a human being, too! If I were a super human, I could've left buying just apples, but that's too much to ask of yourself!
Doesn't moderation in all things mean at times you should be moderate with your moderation? In other words immoderate? I like to thinks so...

Yep, it does. Besides, the pie was my breakfast and lunch, and I'm now having broccoli & shrimp for dinner... If I could only skip on the wine... I don't have a whole lot to live for, so I can't deprive myself of everything and anything. If I do that, I might as well dig 6 feet under.

I made chicken noodle soup tonight. Husband had a sore throat so figured that might work for him. Apparently it did, because he is off at his hockey game. lol
