I hadn't played one in 4, 5 years maybe? Mostly it was just a pieces of youth sitting up on a shelf. Those things now gone I find that I don't really miss them, the things I miss from my marriage are not things. Still those albums were close to my heart, moreso than most of the "stuff" that fill a house.

Albums, and CD for that matter, it gave you something to hold, you had the insert to look at, can read all of the music lyrics and other stuff that was included with albums and CD's.

Now, you download MP3's.... just doesn't seem to be the same....

Yeah, I always buy the cd and then rip it. Almost never played the cds themselves, I had a server with all the music ripped lossess and then of course use mp3s in the car. I still have the server and the mp3s but no CDs, I wonder if that is illegal? Whatever, I bought em and I'm keeping em.

I do the same thing. Well until the case fell apart of my memory stick. I really need to set up a home server with all the music and videos. Then take back them to a physical media. And if I were to take a step further store copy off site.

A home server is the way to go, makes it so much easier to play your music when you have a lot of it. I'm using a solid state portable drive in the car because they don't make big enough memory sticks just yet. One problem my car has is that the available memory in the car cant index more than 10k songs so I can only voice command to artist and album. Still dig it though.
