LOL - one of "our" cats here is Red - he's an orange tiger-stripe. Sweetest cat in the world, even though he started life abused and injured.

His adopted little brother Jack (so named because he's black and white and looks like Jack the Pumpkin King!) is a terror - a stray that was on the edge of being feral. He likes to chew on various parts of my anatomy, but every night he does the "sucky/kneady" thing on me - like he's milking Mommy.

Oh, man - I totally forgot what it's like to deal with little kids!

I'd say my hair is falling out, but it's a little late for that.

My cat does this..... just this morning he was licking my arm all the way down to the bone.... I'm like, hey kitty.... .... I'm not a damn salt lick.....

He is a good cat.... he won't be around a whole long time... so, if he wants to treat my arm like a salty pretzel.... so be it.....

I'm not sure how I come off here on the forum. I act goofy and make corny jokes and one liners, In real life, I am much much more reserved... quite and shy sorta. I don't like crowds and large groups of people.

My job sometimes puts me in meetings discussing our products and or our services. I was in a meeting Friday morning and I was talking with around 10 people or so and I had to discuss software and other technical subjects regarding a project...... I actually felt pretty at ease, as I normally don't like to speak in front of others, let alone have to sound like I know what I'm talking about.

I'm sorta proud of making progress in that area of my life..... not a big deal really, but it's putting a little grin on the Chowsers face.... LOL

I was looking at Halloween costumes and decided to be myself this year - .

Since the costume is reasonably appropriate and comfortable, I think I'll dress up even for work this year! Not quite sure if I'd be able to sit on the tail, but it's removable. Too bad I threw out the flashing horns I used to have, but there were bad memories attached to them... These are just sequined.

You must be channeling Dale Carnegie!

I'm the same way, Bro - when I'm talking or teaching martial arts I'm a windbag - I can go for hours without even thinking about it. When I bounce, I'm a different personality but still I don't really have to think about what I'm doing.

But when I'm not working and find myself in a group of more than 3 or 4 people? I withdraw. I get all quiet and introspective and watchful and hang on the edges of the room.

We all have our optimum environments - we just have to figure out how to make-do with the ones that aren't quite to our liking, or we end up as bitter, disillusioned monks.

Oh, and as to how you come off here on the forum to me? A smart, funny but kinda' warped guy.

... a man after my own heart.

Halloween is my favorite time of the year. Perfect weather, kids scared to death of me instead of running and hugging my legs. It's a good time.

Good Job Chow!!!

You come off as very social and witty on the boards. I'm actually surprised you consider yourself reserved and shy in person.

But, I have known some outgoing people on message boards, and then have met them in real life and you can hear crickets...lol.

I'm not like that...I talk even more in real life than I do on here...and I will make friends with anyone! lol
