The reason women go for guy's with money is that they can't make their own. They know that they aren't as successful as other men and women. Also, the gold diggers will never be happy with just material things.
you don't see how being with an attractive woman can be a turn on?
I do. But it's a little to shallow for my tastes. The reverse holds true for me also, I find nothing attractive about the thought of being a sugar momma to some young stud.

Does a man have a shot at getting an attractive woman if he's just rich?
Of course he does. It's the equivalent of males throughout the animal kingdom setting up house in order to attract a female. Females of all species look for a good provider with which to make a home. It used to be how most humans found a mate. Only, nowadays, they're considered gold-diggers if they do it.

Perhaps you're unaware that a great many rich people will only marry other rich people. Does that make them gold-diggers too?
My theory is that since survival is the number one incentive of males and females, anything that assures that is considered attractive . . .so yes, you can have your pick of many females who will see the money as security.
It is not true that that will be "all they're after." That is a misnomer. If you are otherwise well-suited to each other, it could be a fine relationship - each party getting their needs met . . . that's what relationships are all about anyway - getting your needs met - so meet some of hers and she'll meet some of yours. But be sure you have other values in common.
interesting game. money for guys is like looks for women. nobody has invented a filter to get the right kind of people applying for the job.
they all seem like the nicestest person you ever would wana meet.
