Is the USA the only country where infidelity is tolerated and acceptable? (movies, married)

Adultery has been glorified though Hollywood and the media. I reckon nearly half of all American married couples commit infidelity or have open relationships. I don't hear about couples in other countries doing this but in America.
Is the USA the only country where married couples commit adultery and it's perfectly acceptable in American culture?

I believe your "reckoning" is way off. For if that was the case, this is adultery that would never be made public and you would never "hear" about it.
And as for adultery being perfectly acceptable, ask anyone who has been betrayed by a spouse to see how acceptable they find it. My guess is they feel completely blown apart and their lives will never be the same.

Not sure what the point of such a post is. Clearly, anyone that lives here knows that your assertions are completely false. There are enough posts right here on the forum about lying scumbag wormhole (and on and on) cheaters...so your post is a pretty silly one.

Guessing you don't know much about Europe, especially France and Italy?
Hollywood movies and lifestyles exaggerate everything. Mainstream America isn't really like what you see there. Your guesstimations are just that and not close to being accurate.

This is where you went wrong--taking anything these two idiots say seriously.
I agree with the posters that in parts of Europe affairs are much more common and not looked as down upon as in the USA. My parents moved my family to Germany in the late 90s, and years later I found out that European women approached my dad at work very casually about having an affair. My parents were shocked of course, but then learned that it is a pretty common thing. I think sexuality in general is more embraced in Europe than the USA. One example, is the teenie-bopper magazines in Germany had comic strip dramas with real people having sex. I felt like I was looking at porn, but for my German friends, it was just a comic strip.
