Since I have neither a wife or kids, I'm the most important person in my life at the moment.
It's really hard to think about a situation where you had to choose either your wife or your kids to live. I would assume that either choice I made, I would be completely devastated by the results.
Seriously, you who say yourself? I know it's important to be important to yourself but I think it would suck to not have someone more important to you. Sounds lonely. And I'm alone a lot but almost never get lonely.
Just curious, did you post that to -
A) Rub it in
B) to make those that have no one in their lives feel worse or
C) brag
Has to be one of these three because I can't figure another reason why you would post something like this.
I don't regret my decision not to have children, my parents are dead, and I have one brother that I just started talking to after a close to 2 year estrangement. I have a few friends but truth is I hardly ever see them because they are all in relationships.
My parents & boyfriend are. If they weren't around, I'd be a very alone person in this world because I'm an only child, not in contact w/ other relatives really, & don't have close friends, just an acquaintance or two who I may see every so many months or so.
My husband is the most important person to me. However, I would always save my children first. That's my job as their mother and my husband would probably divorce me if I let my children die and saved his butt.
Who is the most important person in your life? Is it your husband/Wife/Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Or is it your child/Children....your parents? If your SO was drowning and you child....who would you save? Be honest.
