If that was true it would be forever impossible to know if most women were interested, now wouldn't it?

Yep, we have to keep making fools of ourselves until we find someone who is interested, if we're lucky. Or else we have to find someone who is open to being 'wooed'.

It seems there are a lot of overtly shy/timid men these days. Or if they're not, they're TOO forward about it. There are also more bold women, it seems.
I used to make the mistake of thinking, if he's too lame to even be able to say "hello", well, I'm not interested. Now I think that's a mistake. I've heard enough stories about women finally approaching the guy they were interested in after waiting for him to approach first, and him thanking her and saying he'd been wanting to talk to her but couldn't, (and then they hit it off really well), I've decided women can miss out on a good thing by passing those guys by.

Tom Selleck said he was always paralyzed by shyness and could never approach a woman. Ever. He said the only reason he got married is that friends set him up with a woman, and they hit it off. So think about it, women (those old enough to know who Tom Selleck is, ha): you could be passing up a hot (and nice) guy just because you're stuck on this The-guy-has-to-make-the-first-move script.

Eh. Most women will write off the shy guy with just a glance.

There are two sides to being 'undesirable' to most women. You won't get quantity, but you'll probably get quality.

Or you may get a crazy lady escapee from the nut-house who just wants to use you but...

I'd say it's a decent chance!

You know he's interested because he repeatedly tries to catch your eye, smiles at you, finds ways to be near you, there are a lot of signals guys give. (D'oh! )

Great question, OP.

But they shouldn't! That would be a mistake. They could be passing up gold. Don't be so pessimistic, Froggie!

They also tend to ignore those guys, too, and run for the guy with the black book.

Or they go home with a drunk. Then bytch about men later. I actually find it pretty funny.

I know absolutely no women who are like this. I feel sad for you.
