What the op makes compared to her bf is moot...the title of this thread is that her bf feels used. His income doesn't mean that he wants to give you any money or that you're entitled to it.
Yes. There are some people who do this. They are called "jerks." Or other things that won't appear on CD if I type them.
She's not to blame if he can't handle his anger like an adult. An emotionally mature person would have said at some point "We have to talk about this issue."
He chose to blow up, and if I read the OP's responses correctly, is refusing to discuss it further. Maybe she's a huge moocher. But as a human being, she deserves the courtesy of an honest discussion, not head games and explosions.
In particular, I love how his justification was "women never forget their purses." [Insert expletive indicating bovine manure here.]
You make it sound like mature people are perfect and have it together all the time. Well it's not true, even if people are emotionally mature, mature people have occasional outburst and moments where frustration gets the better of them; it's part of being human.
Women are cheap who feel entitled to a rich man's wallet. Come on, grow up, get a job, and stop leeching off men. You wouldn't be saying the same if it was the other way around or a man fogot his wallet for a date. You women have called those men losers and now all of a sudden it's different if it's a woman who is being cheap?
What the hell are you talking about? I have NEVER in 32 years of life leeched off of a man. Make sense next time.
LOL, yea, $20 is really breaking their bank, that's why it's better for women not to bother them with such 'egregious' expenses and make sure to always have our purses handy .
There is a thread somewhat similar to this one but reversed. In that thread the guy is living off his girl and youll see all these comments about dumping him, hes no good, hes taking advantage of her, etc. Now look at this thread where it is the girl who is living off a guy and what comments do we see? Oh poor little soul, he is mean. Dump him!...Hes cheap, he should provide . And women complain of double-standards, go figure.
Sex for rent, eh? Another example of acceptable prostitution.
I've heard this comment before and ill share it here.
"Capitalist at work but a socialist at home"
Some guy describing women demanding gifts from men.
Have you been talking to the OP's cheapskate boyfriend?

$20 + rent/mortgage, dinners, drinks, entertainment, etc. A girl with a conscience would make the effort to at the very least take out $20. Come on, you women have called men losers for “forgetting their wallet” on a date, not paying, using a coupon, etc. Why is this all of a sudden acceptable for a woman to do?
I think a sprinkling of guys in here are viewing the OPs boyfriend as if he were a peach. Truth is, he sounds like a complete loser.
FYI - there are men who are absolutely wonderful. The OPs boyfriend is NOT in that category. Stop grouping him into the category of wonderful men. Not all men are alike.
