If I were a man--and I'm not--I would consider that the flaking just told me everything I need to know about that particular girl and would probably not give her a second chance if she didn't at least call and let me know what's up.
That's my thinking as well. People like that aren't worth the chase!
Always have a backup plan. If she flakes on you, call your wife and tell her you're not staying late in the office after all and to have dinner ready. Oh wait, I'm not Don Draper.
the men do this 'flaking' more then anyone i ever seen. this is one of the main reasons i do not put a lot of trust (if any) into most of them, because they did this one too many time to me.

Might be a generational thing too b/c it doesn't happen to me that much but I'm a bit older than most on here I think.
