Well if you include acquaintances, it seems pretty much all of my crushes were with people I didn't know very well - the ones I did were not single. That's why nothing progressed...
When I was in college, I used to follow around this really pretty girl to see where she lived and her daily schedule and stuff but I never talked to her because I didn't know what to say and wasn't sure if she knew I was following her. I started seeing a therapist and I stopped doing that though.
