The field of psychology has evolved so far beyond Freud, but Jung was the first one to supercede him. Actually, Freud abandoned his own early theories, which were closer to Jung's, and Freud developed and promoted cockamamie stuff like the "Oedipus Complex", which, unfortunately, was taken seriously for too long. But that and other theories of his have now been relegated to the dustbin of history, where they belong.
Unfortunately, if you look at some of the other threads on here, the presumption of "penis envy" is still alive and well among certain of the C-D membership.
