I am on the bus right now watching a teeny bopper attempt his game on another one.

Him: how come you didn't say hi the last time I saw you in the street
Her: didn't see you
Him: you walked right by
Her: sorry
Him: you look good today
Her: thanks
Him: I gave you my number last time and you didn't call me. What's your number
Her: I don't give out my number
( he gives her his number )
Him: why don't you text me your number
Her: no
A few minutes pass
Him: what's your name again
Her: why do you want my number if you don't know my name
A few minutes pass
Him: remember last time I saw you we had so much fun.
Her: don't remember.

A few minutes pass
Him: do you have a bf?
Her: yes I do. Why do you care?
Him: so are you going to text me back
Her: guess you have to wait to find out


I know I missed a few highlights of the conversation. Her body language was clearly not interested. And he kept going. See why we get annoyed?

Tons of guys do this, and it does work, and he's probably seen it in action, or heard it from his dad/family/relatives.

OP: the guy is a teenager, give him a break. you don't expect someone his age to be suave and sexy like james bond now, do you? the kid has shown balls, which most guys will never get around to growing when it comes to women. as he grows up, his confidence will likely improve, as will his game.

everyone has to begin somewhere.

besides, even if his game doesn't improve, if he keeps at if eventually some girl will find it charming.
