Seems like a bit of an emotional roller coaster for my taste.
It certainly is an emotional roller coaster. But the whole thing that I think is awesome is that she went against her fiance and her family's wishes for what she wanted. Just wondering if anyone's ever had that type of love. Hard question to pose but hopefully someone comes through.
I read the book a long time ago & I get the fact that he loved his wife so much that he felt the need to stay close to her & tried to see if he could get her to remember him & thier family. Even nore so they they died in each others arms in the end... That's how love SHOULD be but sadly it's not even for a romantice like me I know better.
I haven't read the book or watched the movie, can you give me a Cliff's note virgin of it?
I see what you did there.
Basically this cowboy farmer kid meets this sexy hot chick who's mad wealthy and they hit it off and then get separated at the end of the summer and then years later after he gets back from fighting in WWII and she gets outta college they see each other again but this time he's got a sick house and she has a fiance with a ton of money and they shabang and then yadee yadee yada a whole lotta stuff happens and then they end up together.
I cry every time and my girlfriend beats me with a pillow while calling me a sissy.
