I agree completely!!! I love me some bad boys in movies/books/TV - but not in real life. In fiction - they aren't really bad boys - they are good guys that have put up a wall that comes tumbling down for the right woman. And once it comes down, they'd do anything for that woman. Real life is not like this.
Agreed completely. Usually bad boys grow out of that on their own. Rarely, if ever, will it be done for a woman. So best women don't bet money on that. On tv it's joked that women are the ones who change and make good men. As Roseanne said "Good men don't happen. They have to be created by women." That's all nice and funny, but again that's tv. lol
Heck in a series I read I had a crush on one guy in the story for a good while now. He's a bad boy, except toward women. He's polyamorous, so he sleeps around and has an eye for the ladies, but he's actually shown as a respectful guy when it comes to women, even ones he's not dating, and when his lovers give him gifts/keepsakes, he actually hangs on to them and puts them away, as we briefly heard. But when not around a woman, one could say he's a complete ass. lol
But again, that's fiction lol Irl, chances are he's not a guy I would trust or give the time of day to.
So that's a problem when some can't separate fiction from reality, that some fiction and fantasies are just that, and sometimes trying to make it reality will cause a mess of problems.
It's not different than some guys. They wanna have flings and sleep around with, and fantasize about, the bad girls. But then some, when they want a serious relationship or marriage, they don't want them then.
