Guys: If a girl you were seeing flat out asked you if you are just interested in her for sex, would you tell her the truth if you were? And what would you say?

If you're having a rough time differentiating a man who's interested in you vs. a man who's just interested in your vagina you might have some problems.

I'm not currently in a situation like this, but it is sometimes hard...how many times do we see posts on here about how a guy will go to great lengths just get you into bed, and that includes letting on that he likes you more than he actually does.

I have actually done this. She took it surprisingly well.

HELL NO. You know perfectly well that is a mating call for a slap in the face.

I would say "I like you and that is why I'm seeing you."

I don't know too many men who will do whatever it takes to bed a woman. I have known a few, and they were more than obvious to me that they play those kinds of games with women, and succeed to some degree. Some women just can't see the douchebag.

I can see that, I'd respect you for your honesty. Just out of curiosity how did that convo go?

And you wouldn't feel guilty about lying to her?

Not bad actually. We had both for awhile been wondering why the other person had been with us. So, one night we opened up and just asked each other. I was using her for sex, and she was just using me for sex as well. We decided that after that convo, the spark had kinda been lost, so we parted ways.

I don't think its ever about acknowledgement but about prowess. To recognize an awareness of disadvantaging someone would deflate the experience. Its willful awareness that humanizes the other, makes her like me, and brings insult and injury back to me. In the moment, I could see only the most indifferent as saying it's about notching a belt. It would be pretty callous. I would imagine an acknowledgement of the same afterwards would be like a confession, for the purpose of eliminating guilt, but given the same contexts, it would be done again with glee and without thinking twice.
