There are some pretty cool lightweight campers jeeps can pull. Or you can just turn the jeep into the camper. Nice to be up in the air away from Bears

I'm leaning toward an actual fully enclosed trailer, like the casita or the r pod that SD posted. It seems like it would be a little more secure than a tent trailer.

Good idea with the heavy duty axles. I think those Jeep ones are rated for 3,500.
I've debated flipping the axles on my little pop up.

I saw a camper I liked with we were in Yellowstone. I can't recall what it is for the life of me.

I'm hoping when we get out of this silly state in a few yrs we can have a house with a little bit of land, even just half an acre would be fine. We can store it easily on the property.

I would suck to have to store it and those costs would be more than I want to budget right now.

The handy thing with those Jeep trailers, is you can just just store them on their ass end.

You two didn't strike me as condo folks.

A shot of penicillin might help that.

No airstream campers for me. Any more I could find a decent 5th wheel for not a lot of money. With the small house we are in could have family stay, they'd have their own quarters with bathroom shower etc.

That is the thing I don't like about popups. Where with a travel trailer we can park somewhere, fix lunch or rest, then take off without setting up. And setting up with a conventional camper would be less time and fewer steps.

Maybe, or a piece of pride. At least the colors are not indicative of infection.

I make a pretty good income, but I couldn't afford a house at the time we purchased the condo. That was way back before the prices ran up and then back down and now slowly are coming back.

We got lucky and bought just before things went nuts with housing.

My plan is to sell here in a few yrs, buy something out of state and hopefully put down a huge chunk and maybe take out a small loan and pay it off in 10 yrs or so.

We'll see how that life plan is gonna work, it seems like life has been throwing curve balls at us the last few yrs....
