It is often/generally still successful, if by "visual stimulation", you exclude visual images which are only in your minds/memories at that point in time, rather than on a screen or on paper.

Frankly, once I (hopefully) eventually get married, I probably wouldn't care if my future wife would watch porn. Just as long as she is not committing adultery, I would be fine with it (and for the record, I am open to having certain three (plus?)-ways in certain cases after I get married if I get my future wife's consent for this ).
