Jeebus. I find it hard to believe, but I'm sure it's true.

In all seriousness, I think that was written by an angry ex boyfriend, or an angry current/ex girlfriend.

That was just horrifying. And I totally believe it. When you are in your 50s and regularly getting messages from 21 year olds that just say "Are you DTF?" you would not doubt it.

It is funny that so many guys are envious that women get more messages in online dating. They need to read this.

She is 1.) good-looking and 2.) likes casual sex.

There is nothing at all surprising in the results. Many men likely stopped reading after seeing her pic and her answer "looking for casual sex."

That's a funny story. I once created a fake profile claiming to be a homeless woman and still got a lot of responses.

I don't even think she needed to be hot.

If the author had posted a picture of herself and made herself out to be horrible, she still would have gotten lots of interest. Anyway, women are the same.

They aren't as blatant. Not as many of them will still have interest in a hot man with a horrid personality, but they are just as much a slave to looks and standards.

So, really, the link taught me nothing except to continue to stay away from online dating.

It was funny though, and so obviously fake. She could have been a little less obvious.

If you present a low-quality profile, you will get low-quality guys. If she were to write up a really intelligent and coherent profile, the messages would be quite different and would attract higher quality men.

The worst thing is that it's not that much different from a lot of women's REAL profiles.
